Born in Hilo, she was to co-owner of Alameda Plumbing, the matchmaker of the Waiakea Boxing Club, a rental property manager, and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ikenobo Ikebana Society of Hawaii, and a former member of the Hilo Chapter of the Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association. Kazuko Kuriyama Borish, 81, of Paauilo died Oct. 10 at her residence. Born in Tokyo, Japan, she was a retired secretary, member of Paauilo Kongoji Mission and Thursday Senior Handicap Bowling League.
